About Dad's Handyman
The idea for Dad’s Handyman came to Cameron, the owner and founder, while preparing for what would be his final Army deployment. The dream grew into a reality and “went live” upon Cameron’s official retirement from the Army in 2024. In addition to being a second career, one that allows him to be present for his family, Cameron’s goal for the company is to provide a valuable service for the Monument and Colorado Springs community. This is accomplished by providing family-like honesty and quality in all that we do.
We can take on just about any project that does not require permitting. If we can’t do it, we probably know someone who can. Check our partners page!
Meet the team
Cameron Tinker
Founder & CEO
Cameron is a proud Colorado native! He joined the Army upon graduating from Columbine High School in 2002. He retired after 22 years of service, having lived in fantastic places such as Hawaii, Washington, central and west Texas, and having deployed to Iraq, Korea, Turkey, and Poland. He learned many of his skills either from his father or by doing it himself in the numerous homes his family owned or rented throughout the years. He and his wife have two children (who helped him name the company).
Philip Munder
Field Service Technician
Philip has been working in maintenance and repair since 2011. He is originally from Chicago. After years of owning an electronics repair shop, he moved to Colorado Springs with his wife and 3 dogs in 2018. Since then, the number of pets and livestock has exploded to over 30! He loves the outdoors. His hobbies include camping, fishing, skiing, hiking, and off-roading. Philip is ready and available to tackle any project you may encounter in your home.
Sean Harvey
Field Service Technician
Sean is a Colorado native, born and raised right here in the Pikes Peak region. He has spent several years honing his skills in home repairs and renovations, and his background in utilities and city infrastructure gives him a unique edge when it comes to understanding how a home truly works from the inside out. Sean takes tremendous pride in every project he takes on and is genuinely passionate about delivering the best possible experience for each and every customer he serves.
